John Riady

Together with Rudy Ramawy, John Co-Founded Venturra Capital in 2013 as one of the region’s first home grown Venture Capital Funds. A lawyer by training and investor by trade, John has had a front row seat and pioneered technology investing in Indonesia and the region. John also co-Founded Indonesia’s largest digital payments company, OVO, which was sold to Grab in 2021, making it one of Southeast largest technology exits. John is also Group CEO of LPKR, the largest homebuilder and healthcare company in Indonesia, and holds a number of senior executive positions within the Lippo group of companies.

John holds a B.A in Political Philosophy and Economics from Georgetown University, an MBA from Wharton, a J.D from Columbia University, and is a licensed attorney in the state of New York. John resides in Jakarta, with his wife and four children.
